The messenger 9 beta has been out over a year on the Connect site and its way faster and better than 8.5.

Bonnos, You can get Messenger 9 from Microsoft`s connect site and it will be getting released within a the next two months anyway, That link you posted is illigal and contains a Virus with some other malicious code

Dont post links to commercial software or beta software on the forum, especially rapidshare links
