During install of SP1 a backup file will be created so that SP1 can be uninstalled ata later date if required. Does anybody know what this file/folder is so it can be removed and reclaim the space.

Yes I already have an image of the drive before SP1 install.

Many Thanks for any info

If you want to make the vista sp1 permanent, then you need to run the clean up tool.

It can be found in the Windows/System32 folder...look for VSP1CLN.exe and run it. It gets rid of the backup files sp1 made
