How can I find out if I did, indeed, d/l and install it? Thanx! Last edited by frizzie; 06-08-2008 at 01:48 PM. Reason: Subject should read Vista SP1 |

A similar screen to the one below will appear. If you have SP1 installed it will appear as below, but if not it will read 'Version 6.0 (Build 6000)' in the second line. Another thing, when you clicked on the start orb, was 'Search' still directly available in the right hand panel? This feature was removed in SP1. Dwarf |

Hi Dwarf: Wow I sweat that one. I followed your instructions and typed winver in the search box on the left bottom space after clicking on the orb and what came up was winver.exe. Errrrmmmmmmm I was afraid to click on the .exe entry but I cussed and clicked on it and up came the image you have in your post. Soooooo yes, indeed, I did install SP1. Thank you so much -- I'd sure be sweating and cussing a lot more if this forum wasn't available with such knowledgeable people as yourself. | |||||||||||||||
