Hi everyone, hope someone is able to help me!

I desperatly try to install this update
(Security Update for Windows Vista for x64-based Systems (KB948590)) and the SP1 but i always get the error message,Update failed Code 80073712.

I have tried to install in safe mode but no luck,it seems all the other updates are all ok just these 2 giving me trouble.

Has someone a idea what could be wrong.
Thanks

Hey Sebzero,

No I dont uninstall SP1, The performance and security of your system will be severely compromised if you uninstall it...:(

Take a screenshot of GPU-Z Video card GPU Information Utility abnd I can get a better idea about your NVidia hardware ;)

hmm, You have the latest driver installed...So when you enable SLI the NVidia driver stops loading or just the SLI option?

When i switch to SLI and then the next time i reboot the gfx driver does not work and i have to install it new.If i leave it on single card everything seem to work ok.

I had a look in Control panel and the nvidia icon is gone.As soon as i reinstall it its back there.
So something does not like the SLI option.

Hey Seb,

Yeah thats why I asked, It looks like your NVidia cards are from different vendors (no subvendor ID in GPUZ) and maybe not identical as required for SLI..

This might sound like a pain but can you take one card out then screenshot GPUZ then switch to the other card and screenshot GPUZ again so we can conpare the differences between the two without both cards being used at once?

Yes no problem won't be today though, its gonna be 2morrow.:sleepy:

What i don't understand is, it work before without SP1 and i run XP in duel boot and i don't have any problems.
