| Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit | [SOLVED] Unable to install SP 1! OK, If anyone else has a problem like mine, with the Windows Update, open Windows Update. Click on 'View Available Updates' and then right click on KB947562 and 'hide' it. Then disable any 3rd party anti-virus and firewalls you have and check for new updates! It should find you SP1. Hope it helps! ------------------------------------------------------------------ Well, Im using Vista 64bit, and I accidentaly downloaded the 32bit installer. Now, I also tried downloading the 64bit installer but I also got an error there aswell. So, I started wondering why; I went back to the download page Download details: Windows Vista Service Pack 1 Five Language Standalone for x64-based Systems (KB936330) and noticed near the bottom it said: Quote: DO NOT CLICK DOWNLOAD IF YOU ARE UPDATING JUST ONE COMPUTER: A smaller, more appropriate download is available on Windows Update. Anyone have a download link for the 64bit installed for ONE computer? Any help would be great, Thanks, Alex Last edited by MrAlex; 08-16-2008 at 02:25 AM.. Reason: Solved it :) |
