I've installed a major update for Office 2007 on my Vista computer on 11 december 2008. Since then my Excel keeps on crashing. Shall I uninstall all the updates that were installed at that date?

God this is annoying, you install an update in order to improve performance, but it gets worse. Damn!

Hi pooch,

Thanks for the info. I tried all the things the links suggested. None of them worked. I then uninstalled the whole office package and reinstalled. Now all is fine. Except I don't update it now. As update means new trouble! :sa:

Sometimes things go wrong, what is annoying is the hassle to sort them out,

You are back up and running that is the main thing :D

Happy holidays
