SP2 problem

In the notification area in the taskbar the volume and network icons did not show up, tried to turn them on but they are grayed out and I cannot check them off.

Can anybody help me with this?

Re: SP2 problem

Your "greyed" out volume & network icons are probably not associated with your SP2 download.
When I had the same problem some time ago [for no apparent reason ] I think I recall seeing a couple of articles about this under "Vista Tutorials" [Letter "N"]
A "search" within the forum should also shed some light.
Post back if you have no success.
In haste.
