| Vista Ultimate 32bit | TCP/IP v4 removed after SP2 install After installing SP2, Internet Protocol version 4 is removed. Only IP v6 is available. This is evident using ipconfig /all as no parameters related to IP v4 are listed with any of my network interfaces. I tried to install IP v4 by going to network connections / connection properties / install / protocol, however IP v4 is not an option that is available.after running SCF /scannow it found corrupt files that could not be fixed. At the end of the log file I found the message: "Cannot repair member file [l:24{12}]"nettcpip.inf" of Microsoft-Windows-TCPIP-nettcpip-pro, Version = 6.0.6001.18000" and another "Could not reproject corrupted file [ml:520{260},l:36{18}]"\??\C:\Windows\Inf"\[l:24{12}]"nettcpip.inf"; source file in store is also corrupted". where i can get this file i opened it and it is empty. |
