    .net framework 3.5 family update (KB959209) x86

    I keep getting .net framework 3.5 family update (KB959209) x86 from microsoft, but when I tried to install this update I got error code 80070663..windows update encountered an unknown error.

    Any help? Thx in advance!

    Try install this hotfix from Microsoft Download Center An update for the .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 is available

    If it also impossible you have to remove NET Framework 3.5 by using NET Framework Cleanup Tool Aaron Stebner's WebLog : .NET Framework Cleanup Tool User's Guide
    and the install NET Framework 3.5 SP1 again and all hotfixes for this

    Thanks Flavius, I tried to install the hotfix from your link and I got..no update on your system is available. The .net framework clean up tool is a lil too complex for me and I haven't tried it yet..thx!

    Thx to Flavius too! I have the same problem with update KB959209 (error code 80070663). Reinstall NET Framework 3.5 the best solution!
