Windows update wont start.

I am currently trying to run the download for windows update but whatever I try it says it has started the download but never moves from 0KB downloaded and after a couple of minutes it reverts back to saying preparing to install and gets no further no matter how long I wait.

Please can someone help me!?

or reset the whole WU with enabled "aggressive mode" How do I reset Windows Update components?

tried both of those...after running the BITS program i was told that no updates were needed. I have just reset the whole WU and now when i try to run it i get the following error code - 8007000B.

Any ideas?
