| Vista home premium 32bit | Re: Vista SP1 I suggest the following: 1. make sure you have the prerequisite KBs installed. Those are: KB 935509 Bitlocker Update (Enterprise and Ultimate editions only) KB 937287 Servicing Stack Update KB 938371 Reliability Update 2. Download SP1 and SAVE it. 3. Unplug all devices (e.g. printer, external disk, etc.) except mouse and keyboard. 4. Install in Safe Mode - that avoids any conflicts with running processes. 5. When finished, plug devices back in. |
