updates not installing

hi
i am running windows vista home premium sp1 ,,new install......and receiving these updates but continuously failing.....i want to install sp2 but thinking to get these done before that..should i wait..or can go with the sp2 update

i also want to resolve the issues with these updates,,i tried to manually update but even then they are failing... help needed....please

You must get those done. As soon as you have all the required updates, you will receive SP2 via automatic update.
Some of those codes can be caused by harware problems with the computer.
Take a memory test. and then test in the upgrade center.
This is the Seven upgrade advisor, see if it picks up problems with your computer

There are two possibilities. Either this is a corruption in Windows Update's temporary data store, Downloaded Data, or more likely given your error codes, this is caused by a corrupt system files which does not have the extension .cat, .mum, or .manifest.

Firstly, please download and install this tool: Description of the System Update Readiness Tool for Windows Vista, for Windows Server 2008, for Windows 7, and for Windows Server 2008 R2

Then please run an sfc /scannow scan: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/66978-system-files-sfc-command.html

Then please copy the C:\Windows\Logs\CBS folder to your Desktop, right click on it > Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder, and upload the new file which is created on your Desktop here.
