Running Vista Home Premium, 32 bit, x-86 based.

When running Windows update, 2 important updates routinely fail:

Update for Windows Vista (KB971029) - error code 80070490
Windows Internet Explorer 9 for Vista - error code 9C47
(I think the second error is happening because of the first one)

I ran the System Update Readiness Tool, and the following is the contents of the CheckSUR file:

I ran the scan three times as you suggested. Each time it said there were errors that could not be corrected. Attached is the CBS file for the last scan.

Any other suggestions?
