Windows updating stuffed...

Hi All,

I'm performing some IT support for my mother-in-law remotely, so my apologies if gathering extra information is limited.

Her Dell Inspiron laptop is reporting problems with Automatic Updating, sp I've tried following the (manual) steps here: How do I reset Windows Update components?

Have got as faqr as re-registering the DLLs, but there have been 13 failures (out of 36):
mshtml.dll - failed to find DllRegisterServer
shdocvw.dll - failed to find DllRegisterServer
browseui.dll - failed to find DllRegisterServer
msxml.dll - failed
gpkcsp.dll - failed
regsvr32.exe sccbase.dll - failed
regsvr32.exe slbcsp.dll - failed
initpki.dll - failed
wuaueng1.dll - failed
wucltui.dll - failed
wuweb.dll - failed
qmgr.dll - failed to find DllRegisterServer
muweb.dll - failed

Any ideas what to do next?

Just to reiterate, I'll be remote from the computer and my in-laws are extremely computer-illiterate, so I'll need to talk them very gently through any information gather steps...

Cheers - Adam...
