Yes, SP1 is installed a couple of years ago.

Thank you for the information. I'm afraid that the problems are affected by a dying HD. Every time I run checks, new files are corrupted. It's much more than only the manifests. At this moment the HD is spinning and ticking for a long time, not what I like to hear.
I'll replace the HD with a spare one and install the OS again.

Well, I had no luck sourcing your last manifest. I'm slowly building up a collection of all of the MS updates for every product, but I'm yet to extract them all, so I didn't have a chance to find yours.
I'm sorry to hear that it's a hardware fault, I hope you haven't lost any important files!
