Hi, I have done a factory image restore on a friend's Toshiba Satellite Pro L300. the operating system is Vista Home Premium. I have been downloading updates for 2 days now. It always finds new updates but they always come as 49 new updates or 55 new updates. In addition Internet explorer 9 is an optional update but won't install. My friend uses Firefox. Even if I download IE 9 from the Microsoft page it still won't install. does anyone know why it just will not complete installing the updates?
In addition, I have just noticed that in fact it is reinstalling the same updates over and over again. How will I know that the updates are actually done?
