Server operating systems

As I understand, one of the biggest advantages of WinFS will be ability to
organize data and metadata. This will make querying and searching for objects
much easier. Is there anything special that WINFS will offer for server
operating systems ? Any special Tools ?

Is anything changing in NTFS to support WINFS ?

As for WINFS offer for servers I can only say that Vista Server wouldn't
have WinFS as an optional pack before Service Pack would be released. Just
for now WinFS Beta 1 Refresh as original Beta is working only with Windows XP
SP2 and nothing to talk around its Vista availability.

As for NTFS changes Shishir Mehrotra [WinFS] told at PDC'05 that WinFS
doesn't support new NTFS w/TxFS - Transacted NTFS as well that is in Vista so
now WinFS is working with Windows XP SP2 native WinFS. Also note that WinFS
in Longhorn 4074 worked with NTFS which version was lower than it is in XP
SP2 as Longhorn 4074 wasn't based on XP SP2 so XP SP2's version of NTFS much
differs against XP SP1 but doesn't provide features of TxFS as well.
