| | Re: is winfs really dead? i dont think so I was reading a MSDN blog http://blogs.msdn.com/winfs/archive/...23/644706.aspx and my question is the following: Is WinFS becoming a part of SQL Server, or SQL Server is mutating to WinFS? My question is about which program is going to be the base for the next generation of SQL Server: SQL Server itself or WinFS (as we knew it). I said this because the new SQL Server works around a Entity Model and, if we see the XML examples of Katmai, they're WinFS's XMLs!!! Just a comment.
