| | Microsoft Cross-Platform Audio Creation Tool (XACT) API I could not find an appropriate discussion group nor any posted messages remotely related to this tool so I will post it here and hope that it will be seen. I want to use the XACT Engine (uhhh...I found it in the DirectX Sample Browser just in case no one has any idea what I'm talking about which I feel is a distinct possibility) in my application but I cannot create the engine when my application is run on another machine. I believe I might be missing some files because it runs fine on my development machine. There is extremely little documentation to 1) help me to even determine what the creation failure error is and 2) help me to determine how to distribute XACT applications. If there are any ships in the night out there can you throw me a life preserver? Greybeard |
