Data Sources Disappear

Hi,
In my project, I am trying to drag and drop a table to a form. However
everytime I select the form and click Data > Show Data Sources, my Data
Sources window is empty.
If I also try to set the Datasource property of a control I get the
following Error
"Object reference not set".
All this worked previously...

Thanks in advance for any help....
