dual boot vista with linux

Hi,
Two questions:
1) Can you dual boot Vista with Linux using bce (or whatever the Vista
bootloader is called)
2) Can you boot Vista using grub (a linux bootloader)

Thanks

Re: dual boot vista with linux

1) Think so... however if you have it on a seperate partition, it might just
say "Operating system" because it might not recognise the actual kernel of
it... however it should work, but might take some jiggery-pokery to get it
to work.
2) Nope - BCDEDIT needs to take presedence over it I do believe.

Re: dual boot vista with linux

Its possible, but the problem is will it boot after installing. Windows
Vista uses a new type of Boot Manager, while Linux uses a different type,
there might be compatibility issues there to work out.
