| | Install problem with Feb CTP Hi, When trying to install the WinFX Feb CTP I'm getting a failure when it tries to download the necessary components... The problem seems to be around signing of assemblies being downloaded - in the error report it tries to send off to Microsoft, the following lines appear:- [05/17/06,14:35:06] Windows Communication Foundation Beta 2: dlmgr: -2146762749 [05/17/06,14:35:06] Windows Communication Foundation Beta 2: dlmgr: CheckTrust.VerifyTrust failed [05/17/06,14:35:06] Windows Communication Foundation Beta 2: dlmgr: Certificate_Fail: CDownloadJob::VerifySignature() : Indigo.exe is not signed by Microsoft, and therefore is deleted. I've slackened off my .net 2 runtime policy so that the whole world (and their dogs) could run code on my machine but this doesn't achieve anything. I've also been through the downloading troubleshooting steps referred to in the help file, and configured BITS properly but to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks, Steve |

| | RE: Install problem with Feb CTP Ok ignore that: I've found the link to download the whole install kit instead of doing the web-based install... http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...4A/winfxrc.exe Steve "Lydster" wrote: > Hi, > > When trying to install the WinFX Feb CTP I'm getting a failure when it tries > to download the necessary components...
