Where can I download WinFX beta 2 version 3.0.50727?
Not the 3.0.3906.22, but 3.0.50727 that is shipped with Vista beta 2

Did you ever look at that page? All links related to WinFX Runtime
leads you to the 3.0.3906.22 version, not 3.0.50727.

3.0.50727.358 has the highest version number rather then 3.0.3906.22
but it is a February version.
How could it be?

I suspect... it's got something to do with the .NET Framework 2.0 which has
the same version number. Having said that, they may have re-written the code
perhaps... it doesn't make sense to me either, but I guess that's just how
they've done it )

Interesting issue, I remove WinFX beta2 runtime component that is shipped
with Vista 2, download and install 3.0.3906.22 version.
Using you site check version of WinFX 3.0.3906.22 and I got the 3.0.50727
number

Does you site show the number of WinFX correctly?

Seems that Vista beta 2 is shipped with the latest version of WinFX beta
2, there is no reason to remove it and install 3.0.3906.22

There could just be a major mixup with the numbers. There's no way the site can get the version number wrong because it literally calls the WinFX version number and doesn't have any pre-defined settings:
