Vista 5384 registration issue

I already started a thread about Internet connection issue(see below).

Now I can't register my Vista installation because of that. Can I register
Vista using FireFox(which is working fine). Is it really important to
register? I mean will it stop working or this is just a warning.

Re: Vista 5384 registration issue

Are you referring to "activation"? Registration is not required, but
activation is. Activation does not rely on a web browser.

Re: Vista 5384 registration issue

I'm getting error code 0x80072EE2 when I try to activate.

I think it's related to IE browsing problem. Any idea?

Re: Vista 5384 registration issue

It's partly to do with the firewall and activation. Although it's for XP,

Re: Vista 5384 registration issue

Tried to play with what they are suggesting. The issue is still there.

Microsoft any help? FireFox is working fine. Does it give you any clue?

Or you want me to activate on the phone? Hope your phone is working....
