    Target Path for Windows Mail?

I have recently downloaded the latest version of Mozilla and am attempting to use the “get mail” add-on. Although I have managed to add the icon successfully, I also need to change the target path of my “get mail”so that it can open my mail.
With XP it was a simple matter of right clicking the mail shortcut on your desktop and finding the target path that way. However, with Vista this method does not give the required path. Is there another way to find vital piece of info? Thanks.

Hello Stan, and welcome to Vista Forums.

I would imagine that it would be for the C:\Program Files\Windows Mail\WinMail.exe file. This will open Windows Mail as it does in Internet Explorer then checks for new email.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Thanks a million - happy to report that solves the problem. Have to say nobody at Majorgeeks or the Firefox support forum could help me with this. Should have come here first. Thanks again. Stan
