I need to be able to completely remove IE8 from my Vista Home Premium Edition X64 bit OS. I have a corrupted copy. I went to pthe rogram removal list but I found no listing of Windows IE8. After I remove IE8 I need to download a "fresh" copy. Hopefully you can help?

GO on "add and remove program" uninstall the IE8 updateS.. If you have installed vista service pack 2.. you need to uninstall the service pack 2 first. or the other option is a system restore prior to the installation of IE8

If SP2 was installed before installing IE8 then he needs to.. are you sure about that brummyfan? Sounds ok but need to put that on test..
Yes,I have done it several times and it has nothing to do with SP2.
