So I'm at a loss on this- my mom's Sony Vaio N series laptop running Vista Business 32 bit. I added a simple javascript tic-tac-toe game to my forum and it works fine on every other computer I've tried it on but this one... In fact no javascript seems to be working at all. She was using IE8, but I downloaded Firefox and Chrome and they don't work either. No errors reported in FF/Chrome, just no interaction/output at all. Javascript is deffiitely enabled.
I'm running Avira Antivirus and it reports the system as clean, have installed all latest updates, system seems to be in great shape otherwise. I was surprised there wasn't a lot of bloatware actually, the only thing I needed to uninstall was the Yahoo toolbar and I did so and restarted but same issue.
I googled this and found several people with the same issue but no solutions. I've been a member of the Windows Seven forums for a while but just signed up for Vista today.
