Hotmail question

I may junk Yahoo mail due to lack of performance- it just seems to have been acting so erratic lately.

Anyway;
What is the trick to logging into messenger from inside the Hotmail window? Never seems to want to launch..or do anything.

Also, the timestamp is way off. My wife just sent me an email timed @ 7:39 PM. It's, uh, 12:45pm here.

Did you check your system clock, bottom right. It is near the notification area.
