google chrome plus

Does anyone know why my google chrome plus will not set as a default web browser? I have google chrome reg and it is set, but clicking on set as default for the plus program brings up a screen and it never seems to do it, each time I open it it asks me to make it defualt I click yes and this scenrio happens again and again

I wouldn't know exactly why it would do that, but I'd re-install it to make sure nothing is corrupted.

It seems this is a problem that isn't normally answered... I'm searching for a solution.

If I'm not mistaken your using the ChromePlus browser right?

If so, this is a third-party application from Google,

I've been searching for an answer through forums:

But haven't found anything yet.

I think I will just quit using it and use the regular chrome, Chrome plus is a tab bit nicer but I can't find nothing and don't want you to take up to much of your time. Well have a great day. I'll just have a look at the forum you posted.

No problem.

Reading through the forum it seems there's been a lot of bugs with it.

Im imagining that be true, though I am finding it difficult to understand why I am the only person it will not set to default web browser

You're not the only person, while searching I found a lot of unanswered posts like yours.

someone just emailed me from [email protected] The guy said something about sounds like I do not have enough privilege do you have enough privilege. So I don't understand this yet but I am going to check it out

Maybe due to how far along it is in development. Google has a pre-beta Chrome called 'Canary' and you can't make it the default.
