Solved no browser

Is there a way to get online in order to download a browser, if you cant find ie? my friend somehow deleted or just cant find his ie, and has no other browser to get online with. for some reason i was thinking ie came with vista and couldnt be deleted. idk any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. What is your friend's computer OS.... Vista or Windows 7 ?
If it is a Win 7, is that computer purchased in Europe ?
Win 7 computers in Europe do not come with a browser.

2. If it is not a European variety, have your friend tried to type internet explorer in Start search box and press Enter ?
Yes, IE comes with Vista, cannot be uninstalled.

3. Start > search box, type Programs and Features > press Enter > left column, click Turn Windows Features on or off > wait for loading > Is there a check mark in front of Internet Explorer ? If no, check it > OK

4. What do you mean " no other browser to get online " ? What about Firefox ?

he has vista, yes he tried searching in the start search, said all he could find was an empty folder, i wish i had more dtails but im just going on his txt, No he never had firefox, only ie,
far as restore points said he erased all of them cause he had some viruses, not sure what he means by that, ima try and get over there tomarrow so i have a better understanding of whats going on, and thank you all for all ur help'

Have you tried #3 suggestion ?
I mentioned Firefox in response to your comment " no other browser to get online ".
I did not ask if your friend had Firefox or not.

i am a little lost on what you are tryn to say about firfox, no other browser installed on his computer at all except ie, so unless you know a way to get firfox downloaded i really dont know how it will help at this time,

Suggestion....
Use your computer > go the the web > download and burn Firefox to a CD or flash drive > take it to your friend and download Firefox to his computer.

If you follow suggestion number 3 by t-4-2, you will not be required to do anything else. If you still want to try Firefox or any other broswer, for that matter, just go to their web site.
