Solved Microsoft Live Mail Issues

I have been running Vista Home Premium and Microsoft Live Mail for years with minor problems that were fixable.
On 10/19/15, I opened my WLM Program and discovered I had a brand new program with missing folders, empty folders and missing emails.
For 3-1/2 days i have been looking online for a way to recover the data from my backups, storage folders, etc. and have tried everything suggested without success.
I have made sure that there are no hidden files, tried cut & paste, tried importing from storage folder, tried restoring from backups, etc.
Cannot find any folder with files with .eml extension as suggested.
Need to know exactly where to look and what to look for before i give up.
I do have a remote drive with a clone of my OS, but that is a week or 2 old.
There were recent emails on my Verizon Webmail Server that i could have updated WLM with and when I logged in to the server I found a new webmail format with an empty inbox.
Notified Verizon Support and got transferred before being put on hold. Waited 10 minutes and gave up.
Thanks for your help.
