BSOD Error - Vista 32bit laptop

Optimality

New Member
My Vista 32 bit laptop is currently crashing down for the past 2 - 3 days several times in a day. I tried fixing by restoring the windows to last month's date, just to see if it works, and still no use.

Further to my review on the other member's postings in this forum, I found that Vista Forum had helped several members having similar BSOD errors in their system.

I appreciate if some any one could throw some light and help me fix this error.

Attaching minidump files for your reference.

Thanks in advance.

Usual Causes:
Hardware

Probable cause:
Hardware and virtualization software
Improper Windows Validation

Solution
Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try - Windows 7 Forums
If windows is not properly validated please validate properly.

Download and test RAM with Memtest 86. Test each RAM stick separately, for 6 passes. Then with a known good stick test each RAM slot.
Memtest86
Scan with your Anti Virus

Remove any virtualization programs such as Daemon or Alcohol 120% and then uninstall the SPTD driver with this uninstall tool http://www.duplexsecure.com/en/downloads

After performing all of the above, post back with any new BSOD reports, or indicate that the attempted repairs were successful.

Please remember that several attempts may be required before we can solve your BSOD problem. These reports are not definitive but merely point the way to a solution.
