Hello, I have Vista x64. For the past week it started to crash very much (BSOD). Yesterday it crashed maybe 10 times or more.. Sometimes the BSOD doesn't appear, my system just restarts or just shuts down without any error messages. Firstly I tought that it was a virus, but I scanned my PC fully with two AVs and it didn't help.

Here is the recent error message:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.0.6002.2.2.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1063

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: f4
BCP1: 0000000000000003
BCP2: FFFFFA8006CE3040
BCP3: FFFFFA8006CE3278
BCP4: FFFFF800024EC4B0
OS Version: 6_0_6002
Service Pack: 2_0
Product: 256_1

Also, I have attached the Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2 and PERMON tests.

Thanks guys for any help.

Please be Advised that I am a novice when it comes to BSOD's so please bear with me

The most Recent BSOD you had was to do with csrss.exe Which is a Client/Server Runtime Subsystem - This provides the User Profile and Desktop in Windows Vista

You will Recieve a BSOD From this is this process has been Terminated via Task Manger (Administrator) Or another Program

I got one more BSOD. I attached the mini-dump here.

I will do the clean boot later and will report back with it.

Also, just before the crash, I heard a little sound from the HDD. When I heard it, I somehow knew that the PC will crash. And it did in few seconds.

0x000000F4: CRITICAL_OBJECT_TERMINATION
(One of the many processes or threads crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been terminated. As a result, the system can no longer function. Specific causes are many, and often best resolved by a careful history of the problem and the circumstances of the error message. One user, who experienced this on return from Standby mode on Win XP SP2, found the cause was that Windows was installed on a slave drive; compare KB 330100.

The BC of of your BSOD is F4. This code is different from most of the others. There is a chance that it is caused by a virus. Run a full, updated virus scan and download and run a full scan with malwarebytes. If you made the virus scan already, make a malware scan with Malwarebytes. There is also the chance that this problem began after you made some sort of change to the computer. Did you add any software (the reason I want the clean boot), make any changes or try new things with the computer. Maybe you started to use the hibernate or sleeep feature. That sound, it could be the hard drive, make a hard drive test.
Test Hard Drive HD Diagnostic or this test Hard Drive Diagnostics Tools and Utilities (Storage) - TACKtech Corp.
Bottom line, with an F4, we need to work together to get it resolved.

Start with the Clean boot, that may give clues, then do the hard drive test.

I got one more BSOD. I attached the mini-dump here.

I will do the clean boot later and will report back with it.

Also, just before the crash, I heard a little sound from the HDD. When I heard it, I somehow knew that the PC will crash. And it did in few seconds.

Because your computer starts to Create a Minidump Before it produces the Blue Screen

Hope This Helps,
Josh

Ok, I scanned my PC with malwarebytes, did all the tests (clean boot and HDD). No results. Things just got even worse. PC sometimes crashes even when Windows didn't load up yet. Also, I started getting this window everytime I turn my PC on:

messagex.jpg

And I didn't plug in any new devices. I did get a webcamera maybe a month ago, but it always worked fine so it couldn't be the problem.

Also, my PC was usually crashing when I was using skype or any other messenger. I tought the problem might be with them (those programs even had some errors so I had to reinstall them), but it appears the problem is not with them.

Also, yesterday and today windows defender crashed few times and after that, my PC crashed too.

I think the only way might be to reinstall windows. But if there would be a way to fix everything, it would be better than reinstalling.

Ok, I did what you told me. I attached the log file. There are two boots in the file (as far as I see). The first one (2 2 3 2011 19:44:46.375) seems to be ok, but the next one (2 2 3 2011 19:49:42.375) has a lot of unloaded drivers. It seems they are network/internet drivers.

Disconnect from the internet and try. If you still have problems in boot, make a new log.

Your computer has problems. It can be anything from a virus to a hardware problem. I suggest that you contact your computer mfg and get an install dvd at cost(about $25.00) and reinstall the OS

With the DVD we can try a repair install first, however.

Hey guys, I'm back with bad news. The problem appeared again. For about a week everything was working fine, but I started getting crashes again. So I think the problem actually is with my hardware. Any ideas?? :/

I usually get the same BSOD, which I posted earlier when win crashes. Also, sometimes system just turns off without any notifications.

Ifs its bsod just post the reports. They may look the same to you, but many times there are slight differences.
