I really hope someone can help me. I left my computer unattended for a short while and when I returned to it the log on screen was showing but it was showing an error message about the logonui.exe being corrupt etc and said that I should run a disk check.
Trouble is, the comp refuses to run one. It also refuses to run the installation disc to enable me to do a repair installation. Re-booting the comp in safe mode just takes me to the frozen log on screen and I can't even turn the computer off properly. This is all extremely frustrating, I'd at least have a go at fixing it if I could actually get in to any of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
