Help with BSOD Issue

I am new to the forum and have a problem with my Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop. The system has Vista Home Premium 32bit installed. For about the past 7 months, each and every time we turn on the Laptop, after you get into any activity, whether via internet or internal programs, the PC crashes with the BSOD. The error codes are not always the same, for instance, this a.m., I got PAGED_FAULT_IN_A_NON_PAGED_AREA, the first time I have seen this one, previously, we got IRQ_EQUAL_BUT_NOT_LESS - this one seems to be the most common error code. From everything I have read via Google, these seem to be related to a faulty driver. So far, nothing I have tried has helped. I have uninstalled many freeware programs to no avail.
The interesting thing about this is that each and every time the Laptop boots up, it does this 1x. After the initial crash and restart, the Laptop performs fine and you can use it all day without subsequent crashes. Really strange to me.
Can anyone help me?
