Solved BSOD - perfect timing

Is it possible that Gates and the engineers are psychic? How else would they know to crash my system the day I need it the most. The BSOD is "page fault in nonpaged area" and it just started today. Here's what I can tell you:

No new hardware installed
Works fine in safe mode
System restored to a date prior to, last change (a week ago, update to JRE)
SFC completed, no problems
Memtest86 completed, no problems
Restarted in regular mode with only Windows files (no firewall, no Internet, etc), still happened
Ran Verifier, no problems
Chkdsk completed, no problems

Yesterday a friend sent me quicktime video. I tried to open it with QT and both times my system froze. I converted it to mpg and viewed it with no problems. No other problems occurred and I thought that was the end of it. Booted up my laptop this morning and ever since then, when I try to boot into normal mode, it gives me the BSOD. The only thing I haven't tried is updating the video card drivers because Intel says there aren't any. Any input? Thanks in advance.View attachment 27844

Welcome
The problem seems to be related to:
SearchFilterHos
This process is used to help in searches. It is prone to malware, however.
First
Run a complete antivirus scan
Download and run a full scan with malwarebytes. Be sure to update the software before the scan.
If that is negative, try with a clean boot, to see if it solves the problem If it does, follow the procedure to find the cause.

Disable your driver verifier, too.
The fact that the computer runs in safe mode indicates, this is a software problem, potentially only a driver.

Thanks for the input. I had already tried clean boot (sorry, forgot to include it) and it didn't solve the problem. I just ran a quick scan with MWB and it found 4 hits, all of which I removed. I'm going to run a virus scan and then a full MWB scan, but I've got to run those tonight so I can try get some work done in between.

My Computer

Ran AVG (updated as of 2 days ago) last night with no hits found. Restarted the laptop this morning and it blue-screened me again. Since I had only run a quick scan with MWB yesterday, I'm running a full scan now. Obviously all scans are in safe mode since I can't do anything in normal mode.

OK, finished the scan, 1 item removed. I then restarted in regular mode and it happened again. Restarted in safe mode, disabled search and am now in regular mode. I don't want to jump the gun, but this is the longest I've gone in 2 days without the computer taking a header off the high dive. Hopefully that fixed it. I'll give it a bit and then report back in. Thanks again.

You are very welcome. Hope that the good performance continues.

Thanks for all your help. I would like to try and figure out why it happened, though. Are there any disadvantages to leaving the search process disabled? Thanks.

Thanks. I'll leave it for now and see what happens. I'm going to say that disabling the search function fixed the issue because I've been up and running for about 40 minutes now - a new record! Thanks for all your help.

Again, very welcome. Be sure to come back often.
