BSOD after Windows Vista 64 bit install

Hi guys. I have a problem with installing windows on my PC. I will tell you everything I did, until this point in time.

My computer had a really bad virus on it, which prevented it from starting up windows, so I bought a recovery disc to re-install windows on it. I used the x64 bit installation type to install windows, as the PC originally had x64 bit, as it's compatible with it. Whilst the installation, I typed in my license key, chose custom installation, chose my hard drive to install windows, and it's started to do it's thing. Everything went very smoothly whilst installing windows, until I rebooted my system, in order for the installation to finish. It came up with an error message saying that the installation was not finished, please reboot your system. I rebooted my system, and the error message popped up again and again, after each reboot. I finally got rid of this problem by opening up command prompt by pressing "Shift + F10" and I typed in "regedit", while the error message was still up. I went through "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\Status\ChildCompletion" and I changed the unit of "setup.exe" by double clicking on it and changing the unit to "3". I then exited command prompt and rebooted my system. After the reboot, this seemed to fix the installation problem, and windows started for the first time.

I typed in all my details about the user of the computer and other stuff, and rebooted. After it rebooted, I logged into my user account, and an error message came up at the start-up on my desktop, saying "Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown". The details were:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: Blue Screen

I instantly knew that after I reboot, I will get a BSOD with the same details as this, and so when I rebooted my system, I got a BSOD with this information:

Technical information:

*** STOP: 0x0000007E (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005, 0xFFFFF8000185E251, 0xFFFFF98000CB6E58, 0xFFFFF98000CB6830)

After some research on the internet, I installed a program called "BlueScreenView" to see what was causing the BSOD. After I ran the program, it showed two files highlighted red from the Mini Dump file. The files were "djsvs.sys" and "storport.sys". I know that you can fix this by installing the latest service pack, but I don't think you can install all the service packs at once, since you need to reboot your system all the time, and rebooting my system once most of the time after installation causes a BSOD. I've tried many things to fix this, but nothing.

However, I'm able to install 32 bit windows (x86) without any problems whatsoever, but I don't want to run a 32 bit system, but a 64 bit one. My PC had ran a 64 bit operating system ever since I first bought it (which was around 6 years ago), but now I can only install 32 bit, but not 64 bit. I've literally tried to install this for like 10 times, but no luck. I searched for the two files causing these problems in task manager and msconfig, but I don't think it's there. Maybe it's called something else? What do you think I should do to fix this problem?

Thank you very much for your time.

EDIT
: I've managed to find an installation for Vista 64 bit which does not contain any of these problems. This installation will download any version of Vista 32/64 bit, which also includes Service Pack 1. You can find the installation files on this thread here:

I used this thread to install Vista 64 bit without any problems. You will need to run the .exe file after you download, and this will create a file called "Vista", which can install any version of Windows Vista on boot. You will need to change your boot settings to make your CD/DVD or USB Flash Drive run. You can install this with a USB Flash Drive with at least 4GB minimum space. I used a program called "Free ISO Creator" to turn the files inside the Vista folder into a .iso image. This program is also free to use. I also used a program called "Universal USB Installer" to transfer the .iso file to the USB. Before you do this, you must delete all files inside the USB, or else it will not work. Whilst running this program, make sure you select the correct USB drive to transfer the files on. Also, make sure you select the correct .iso image to transfer the files on, and make sure you select "Windows Vista Installation" before you start the transfer. Make sure you have your product key, so that you can install Windows Vista. Without it, you can't install. This is usually found near the back or the side of your computer. If you can't find it, download a software which will find your product key. If you don't have one, contact Microsoft so that they will help you get one.

Here are the links to the programs:

Good luck!
