Code 37 Error Code

We have an Acer running Vista Home Premium and we are getting an Error 37 message on a number of hardware devices including the processor. I have removed the sound drivers and reloaded the sound drivers but that does not help. The drivers appear to be the latest version.
Is there any software package that will eliminate the error so the drivers can be reloaded. There is something called RegCure, RegCure Registry Cleaner has anyone tried it? It costs $30, and I want to be sure it really can do what it claims.
TIA

This is from the microsoft help page;

Code 37
Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)
Recommended resolution

The driver returned failure from its DriverEntry routine. Uninstall the driver, and then click Scan for hardware changes to reinstall or upgrade the driver.

I have tried uninstalling the drivers, then reinstalled them. They are the latest drivers available. Problem is still there, it will not go away! I really do not want to reinstall the entire system. :cry:
Do you know anything about RegCure?
