BSOD when system "thought" that an Intel i5-750 platform was an AMD Phenom ?!?

Good afernoon,
yesterday in the evening I got a BSOD which consequently generated an Error Submission to Microsoft, whose answer to that problem was that the ACPI system missed a driver for the Power Management of... the AMD Phenom processor.
The funny thing is that the platform could not be farther from AMD family of hardware, being an Intel i5-750 on Asus P7-P55D motherboard.
Everywhere in the system (Vista Business x64), the processor is correctly recognized.
So where could this come from?

Thanks in advance for any help
