CD-ROM disk drive not opening, LED eject button light not on

Hi,

I have been unable to open the CD-ROM disk drive. The LED eject button light doesn't turn on either. I have a Dell LATITUDE E5500.

I would appreciate any assistance on this matter, so I'll be able to properly install software from a disk. Thanks.

Lets start by checking the driver
Go to search and type device manager
In manager look for yellow warning markers. If none make sure that driver for the drive is up to date

If it actually does not open. There is a little hole use a paper clip to open
