goose81z Welcome to the forums.

If I remember correctly the last time I installed TS (been a long while) I had to right click and select Properties (on ts2_client_rc2_2032.exe), click on the Compatibility tab and set it to XP mode, and then it installed (think I did the same to the exe/shortcut once installed).

Also if you have another hard drive or partition install TS there, then you will never have to install it again (unless you lose or format that drive/partition). All you do once you have TS installed and setup the way you want is to go to,

C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming

and make a backup copy of the Teamspeak2 folder that is there. Then if you ever have to re-install Windows for any reason, you just put the backup copy back in the Roaming folder, make a shortcut to the TS exe and it is back up and running with all your previous settings (one reason why I said it has been a long while since I installed it, it has been over two years since the last time I installed it, but have installed Windows at least twice).

rather strange how this would be occurring, it installed fine on my system, have you given it administrator priviliges? (right click the exe and run as administrator)

Do you have User access control on ?
Sometimes that locks up an install while it is waiting for you to confirm.

Where can i download Teamspeak ?
I have Vista Ultimate 64 bit will it be compatible :(

TeamSpeak - Downloads

Grab both the client (2.0.32.60) and the update (2.0.33.7). Once installed just copy and paste the updated exe into the TS folder.

Not so much that it locks up, more that the UAC window stays behind whatever it was that set it off; check the taskbar and see if it is showing there.

If worse comes to worse and you can't get it to install, you can try this,

Teamspeak2_RC2.zip - FileFront.com

That is a zipped copy of the install of TS (already patched) from my machine and I know it works. Just unzip and put the folder anywhere you want and run the Teamspeak.exe and it should go. If it does just make a shortcut to the exe for your desktop/start menu/quick launch.

start win safe mode with networking. you can also just hold the power button until your computer shuts down and then when you turn it back on, when the black screen comes up select "start in safe mode with networking"

Speak problem in Teamspeak

I downloaded ts yesterday and installed it. and set it to Push to talk with number
The BIG problem is that it works in Vista but if I start a game and push that button it don't work so I have to push alt-tab to return to vista and then it worked.

Someone know what I should do?

Please help

or you can map a different key, maybe the game you are playing already uses that key for something else

Run TS as Administrater and your game as Administrater and it should work. I have vista and that is how I run all of my online games and chat systems(ventrillo and Teamspeak)
