need help pronto vista ultimate x86

i got several problems, 1. my mouse pointer return to the old sand clock
2. can't get limewire to work,
3. smartdraw is giving me a non esecutble and is not working .

i might be able to help with the first two.

1) go into start > control panel > mouse
select the pointers tab and select the Windows Areo (system scheme)
click apply > ok

2) dose it give you any errors? and also make sure you have java runtime installed
