Mouse Hover Question

When in applications like my computer, say I have the file trees expanded in both panes when I mouse wheel scroll in one pane and then move the mouse to the other I have to click in the pane to get it to scroll. I remember in XP being able to scroll by just having the mouse in the pane.

I would like the same in Vista x64.

Hi therock,

I do not think you can change this behavior in Vista. I played with different mouse, folder options, color scheme, and etc.. settings with no luck. It seems that the pane must be made active manually for the one you want to use scroll with.

I have also noticed that when I close one window the next one in the stack does not become active, thus if I want to close several windows using Alt+F4 I can't as I have to click on each one to activate it. Might as well just click the X. W2K was easier in this respect.:(
