Sorry for a beginners question.

When I open up a folder with only pictures in it:
I want

- to see the details of the picture at the bottom of the screen. Nice. This works via "Organize"
- to see the directory structure: Nice; also works via organize.
- see the thumbnails and a preview of the picture....

Works but I see " 3 small thumbnails or 2 medium ones besides the preview. The thumbnails are eating up valuable screen space.
I just want one thumbnail but sliding the cursor to the left leaves me always 2 or 3 thumbnails.

I got rid of date taken, size and all other stuff. I want just have the file name displayed but can't force Explorer to display only 1 thumbnail so that the preview is maxed out.

Any help?

Hi Alfred,

Not sure if I follow you, so please let me know if I'm not. If you only want the name to show for the files and see the image in the preview pane instead, then you can click on Views and click Details. You can also drag the preview pane to the left more to make it bigger if you like.

Another option is to turn off the preview pane (Organize, Layout, Preview Pane), and have the icons Views set to Extra Large Icons.
