Don't think I can run pcmark 06 on 64 bit ??

Try using PCMark Vantage (http://www.futuremark.com/products/pcmarkvantage/?hash=626147). It has been specifically created for benchmarking and grading Windows Vista systems.

What is your Windows Experience Index (WEI) for each category? I am particularly interested in your graphics figures as you have an nVidia based graphics card on your system whereas according to the ASUS website your motherboard supports the ATI 'CrossFire Technology'.

I get 5.9 across the board I am thinking I should have bought nvidia board is it the n force 7 ? I would need to get DDR2 board to go with my RAM though wouldn't I?

My Computer

5.9 across the board is currently the highest WEI that you can achieve, so I don't think that you have anything to worry about, especially if you can run your programs and games satisfactorily. As for the benchmark, there are lots of reasons why you are getting a seemingly low score in comparison to others. The first is their system specification compared to yours and the second being the type of benchmark that you have run. Where benchmarks really come into their own is when you upgrade your system. They can give you feedback as to its performance both before and afterwards.

I changed cards from 8800 gts and my fps on call of duty 4 showed no real improvment.I then reinstalled drivers for my 9800 gx2 and got a real impressive gain.I moved new card from the bottom pci express slot to the top where it should have been and I have lost the Fps gain again.I am going to reinstall vista.
