hi every one ..and thanx for all who help others in this site ..

i ask if someone may know of a way to create a bootable USB flash drive with a OEM Vista recovery CD.
coz as you know now adays laptops have a recovery cd which is liable to be lost or scratched  and the worse senario is when you had deleted the recovery partition .. in that case your only hope is to order a new set of recovery cd from manufacturer which in my case didnt restore the recovery partition thats why i need to recover the system from an usb flash drive...

any help is appreciated ;)

Once the recovery partition is deleted it can't be restored. I have no idea how to make a bootable usb with a OEM recovery disc cause its just a clone of the factory hard drive when you first got the pc.

Hi KFM!

Welcome to the forums.

You didn't mention who the manufacturer of the laptop is. In any case, there is probably a support website where you can download drivers. You can use an upgrade or full version DVD of Vista to reinstall your O/S and use the CD key on the back or bottom of your laptop for installation. That CD key will tell your installation disc which version of Vista you were using (Basic, Premium, Business or Ultimate) and instll that version.

Good luck!

Snarks
