Hi,

you can create Recovery Disks, then recover your 10Go
I did it , I now have two Recovery DVD's (Dual Layer), and already used them several time after having reformatted my HDD

Worth doing it!

Hello harsha.

Look in the start menu under HP; just look around in there till you find it; there'll be an option to create a set of recovery discs. Just be sure you get a good copy the first time as you only get one chance to create them.

Then after you have created the discs; have a look at this tutorial; at the link below to delete the partition.

Hello mansrm....:)

Thanks, since I installed 64-bit Ultimate and deleted all the HP stuff; I don't have the HP information I used to have for reference and I couldn't remember where it was.

That brings up a related topic/inquiry...can it be re-installed without clean system re-installation? Like through System Restore?

Hello CNY.

If you're referring to doing a "System Recovery" from either the recovery discs or the recovery partition; the answer is no, it's 'clean' all the way.
