I'm no expert in this field but don't you have to delete the volume so that it becomes unallocated space before you can extend the partition you want to merge it into ?

Hi Saeen

The message is misleading - it does not mean Paragon is not compatible with x64 Windows. (Bad translation from the German)

What it says is something like cannot perform this operation on "the name of the o/s you are booted into "

What it should say is :

Cannot perform this operation while booted into this partition.

Normally, it is trying to tell you to use the bootable cd that you create from within the program.

You cannot move data on the partition you are booted into, or the system partition, from within windows, for obvious reasons.

You can, of course shrink free space from within windows.

The other way is of course to delete and extend, rather than merge.
