Quick Launch gone and can't be restored

My Quick Launch vanished from my taskbar and no matter how many times I try to restore it through the right-click Toolbar function or Properties, it won't come back.

I usually have a lot of windows open at once and rely on the desktop and cascade icons there.

Can anyone explain how I can repair this function in my taskbar? I even tired to System Restore, but it failed to restore completely.

I'm working on Vista.

Thank you!

Hi clearlyconfused,

Welcomd to the forum. Refer THIS Tutorial and verify that the following Location is available: C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch.

New user account would fix this issue. Here it is: How to Create a New User Account in Vista.
