Hi, I have lost the most used account on my Vista system. About 300 Gb of data is still on the disc and I can even access the desktop with a remote desktop login to that PC as an administrator rights user. So it is all there.
One thing though, the original user name - lets say it is "mary" - has been recreated and "mary" directories with a standard login now have hardly anything in them. The old "mary" directories are still there somewhere but invisible except on remote login or accessing the drive as a slave on another PC.
So I just want to get the original "mary" account back please. Is there a utility? The system restore was turned off so I can't use that.
